Outstanding Expedition Team
Guests will be accompanied by a team of eminent naturalists,
geologists, zoologists, historians and ornithologists, experts
whose education, field research and personal accomplishments
make them ideal companions for Antarctica. Every day guests
will meet for briefings or wrap-ups, and as one of the limited
number of guests on board, it is easy to exchange ideas with
these friendly and enthusiastic educators.
Zodiac Exploration
We plan on making two landings daily in
these safe and stable inflatable rubber boats. Each will be
led by one of our knowledgeable guides, so that guests are
assured of a highly personalized sightseeing and learning
experience. Landings are subject to weather, ice conditions
and wildlife sightings. The determinations will be made by
the Captain, together with the ice masters and Expedition
Leader. Naturally, we hope to be able to visit all the places
we mention. However, if our forays ashore vary, the quality
of your experience will not. Every mile along the Antarctic
coast offers stunning scenery and wildlife.
